Combine the heavy lifting capacity of a forklift with the extensive forward reach of a crane. At IronPower Industries, we offer a versatile inventory of fully inspected used telehandlers for sale. Also known as reach forklifts or telescopic handlers, these robust machines are a crucial part of our lifting equipment lineup, designed to transport heavy materials across muddy, uneven jobsites and place them precisely at extreme heights. Whether you are framing a multi-story building, supplying bricklayers on scaffolding, or managing agricultural bales, we have the right machine ready to deploy. Maximize your machine's utility on the jobsite by exploring our compatible universal attachments, or check out our boom lifts for dedicated personnel elevation.
Browse our trusted telescopic handling machinery by manufacturer:
IronPower Industries provides a specialized selection of used telehandlers engineered to deliver unparalleled material handling performance in the toughest outdoor environments. Unlike standard straight-mast forklifts, telehandlers feature a telescopic boom that can extend forwards and upwards, allowing operators to reach over obstacles, dumpsters, and trenches to deliver materials exactly where the crew needs them.
Selecting the right reach forklift requires understanding the specific lifting demands and spatial constraints of your jobsite:
Maximum Lift Capacity vs. Forward Reach:
A telehandler might be rated for 10,000 lbs, but it can only lift that maximum weight when the boom is fully retracted. As the boom extends horizontally (forward reach), the safe lifting capacity drops significantly. Always review the load chart to ensure the machine can safely lift your heaviest pallets at the maximum required extension.
Maximum Lift Height:
Consider the height of the structures you typically build. Compact telehandlers may reach 18 to 20 feet, while large-frame construction telehandlers can easily reach heights of 40 to 55 feet to supply roofers and upper-level masonry crews.
Outriggers (Stabilizers):
If you are lifting extremely heavy loads to maximum heights, look for models equipped with front outriggers. These hydraulic legs deploy to the ground, widening the machine’s footprint and drastically increasing its lifting stability and forward reach capacity.
Our inventory is stocked with the pioneers and current leaders of the telescopic handler industry. JCB, the original inventor of the telehandler, offers robust machines known for their side-engine layout providing unmatched visibility. JLG (including their SkyTrak and Lull lines) dominates the North American construction market with indestructible frames and simple maintenance. We also regularly feature highly reliable models from Skyjack and Bobcat.
Because telehandlers routinely lift heavy loads over the heads of ground crews, structural and hydraulic integrity is our top priority. Every telehandler listed by IronPower Industries undergoes a rigorous, multi-point practical inspection:
IronPower Industries proudly supplies telehandlers for sale in Florida and across the United States. With a large portion of our material handling inventory located at our Hialeah facility, framing contractors and masons in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, Orlando, and Tampa have immediate access to heavy-duty reach forklifts. We routinely coordinate domestic heavy haul freight and international export to ensure your telehandler arrives safely and ready to work.
A standard forklift (straight mast) only lifts loads vertically and is typically designed for flat surfaces like warehouses or paved yards. A telehandler features a telescopic boom that allows it to reach forwards and upwards over obstacles. Telehandlers also feature 4-wheel drive and large lug tires specifically designed for muddy, rough terrain construction sites.
Most construction-grade telehandlers offer three steering modes to navigate tight jobsites: Front-wheel steer (like a normal car, for driving on roads), 4-wheel coordinated steer (front and rear wheels turn in opposite directions for an incredibly tight turning radius), and Crab steer (all four wheels turn in the same direction, allowing the machine to drive diagonally to easily shift loads alongside walls or scaffolding).
While standard pallet forks are the most common, telehandlers can utilize quick-couplers to equip a wide variety of attachments. These include general-purpose dirt buckets for loading material, truss booms for setting roof trusses, sweeper brooms, and even engineered work platforms to elevate personnel.
Yes. Heavy-duty reach forklifts are critical to jobsite productivity. IronPower Industries offers flexible machinery financing options designed to help construction companies and agricultural operations scale their fleets without disrupting their cash flow.
