New & Used Trailers for Sale – Heavy-Duty Hauling Solutions

IronPower Industries provides a specialized selection of new and used equipment and dump trailers designed to be the uncompromising backbone of your jobsite logistics. Having the right trailer eliminates bottlenecks, allowing your crew to move machinery, deliver materials, and haul away debris on your own schedule without waiting for expensive third-party transport.

Why buy a new or used trailer from us?

We cater to the diverse budget and operational needs of contractors across the country:

  • The advantage of buying new: A brand-new trailer offers maximum lifespan, zero deck wear, pristine wiring, the latest heavy-duty axle technology, and full manufacturer warranties for absolute peace of mind.
  • Unbeatable ROI on used trailers: Purchasing a thoroughly inspected, pre-owned trailer allows you to secure massive payload capacity and heavy-duty steel construction at a fraction of the original cost, maximizing your return on investment.
  • Road-ready immediately: Skip the long factory wait times. Both our new and used trailers are on the lot, fully inspected to DOT standards, and ready to hit the highway today.

Types of trailers we offer

Equipment Trailers:
Built with reinforced steel frames, low deck heights, and heavy-duty fold-down ramps. These tandem or triple-axle trailers are specifically designed for the safe loading, tying down, and transportation of wheeled and tracked machinery like skid steers, mini excavators, and scissor lifts.

Dump Trailers:
The ultimate multi-purpose tool for landscapers and contractors. Featuring powerful hydraulic lift cylinders, these trailers can haul heavy loads of gravel, dirt, or mulch to the jobsite, and then easily haul away demolition debris and concrete at the end of the day.

Gooseneck Trailers:
For the heaviest loads. These trailers attach to a hitch inside the bed of a heavy-duty pickup truck, placing the tongue weight directly over the rear axle. This provides vastly superior stability, tighter turning radiuses, and massive Gross Vehicle Weight Ratings (GVWR) capable of hauling large wheel loaders and dozers.

Popular trailer brands

We stock the most indestructible names in the hauling industry. We are proud to feature brand-new and lightly used models from Texas Pride, renowned for their incredibly thick steel frames, massive hydraulic cylinders on their dump models, and commercial-grade durability. We also regularly stock Double A Trailers, known for their exceptional weld quality and premium components.

How we inspect our trailers

A trailer failure on the highway is catastrophic. Whether fresh from the factory or pre-owned, every trailer listed by IronPower Industries undergoes a strict safety inspection:

  • Axles and Brakes: We rigorously test the electric or hydraulic braking systems, inspect leaf springs, and verify wheel bearing and hub health to ensure maximum stopping power under full loads.
  • Tires and Wheels: Verifying that all tires (including the spare) have deep tread, proper inflation, and zero sidewall dry-rot, ensuring they meet strict DOT weight ratings.
  • Structural Integrity: Checking the main steel I-beams, cross-members, tongue, and ramps for weld fatigue. We also inspect the wood or steel decking for rot or weak points.
  • Electrical and Hydraulics: Ensuring all LED marker lights, brake lights, and 7-way plugs function perfectly. For dump trailers, we test the battery, pump, and hydraulic cylinders for smooth lifting capability with zero leaks.

Frequently Asked Questions About Trailers

What size trailer do I need to haul a skid steer?

For a standard skid steer or compact track loader, you typically need a tandem-axle equipment trailer with at least a 14,000 lb. GVWR (Gross Vehicle Weight Rating). Since the trailer itself weighs around 3,000 to 4,000 lbs, this leaves you with roughly 10,000 lbs of payload capacity, which is perfect for most mid-sized skid steers and their attachments.

What is the difference between a bumper pull and a gooseneck trailer?

A “bumper pull” connects to a standard ball hitch under the rear bumper of your tow vehicle. It is highly versatile but limited in weight capacity. A “gooseneck” connects to a specialized ball hitch mounted inside the bed of a heavy-duty pickup truck. This shifts the weight directly over the truck’s rear axle, offering drastically higher payload capacities and eliminating trailer sway at highway speeds.

Do your dump trailers come with ramps and tarps?

The vast majority of the new and used dump trailers we sell are fully equipped for contractors. This typically includes a roll-tarp kit (to legally secure loose debris on the highway) and heavy-duty slide-in ramps stored underneath the bed, allowing you to load small equipment like mini-excavators directly into the dump box.

Can I finance a new or used trailer?

Absolutely. Reliable transportation is critical to your daily operations. IronPower Industries offers flexible equipment financing options for both our new and used trailers, tailored to help contractors scale their hauling capabilities without disrupting cash flow.
